Day 1: Vineyards of Burgundy - Côte de Nuits

Your immersion is immediate as soon as you arrive in the famous Burgundy wine region. Once in Dijon, one and a half hours from Paris, the celebrated names parade past you: Vosne-Romanet, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle Musigny, ... You discover the famous vineyards and family properties and get an in-depth knowledge of what makes Burgundy wines so original, excellent and irresistible.

The countryside is charming and hilly with villages and abbeys that recall its glorious past, the time when the court of Burgundy was the most powerful and refined in Europe.

Your Day in the Côte de Nuits Vineyards

Your driver-guide greets you at Dijon train station. As soon as you leave the city, you are immersed in a succession of vineyards. You make a stop at the prestigious Romanee Conti estate, then visit a private estate for an acclaimed tasting. Your host shares ‘food and wine’ pairings which is an integral part of French culinary culture.

Your driver-guide drops you off at the end of the afternoon at the Hotel du Cep, in the heart of Beaune. You can walk in the lanes of the city and try one of the little bistros that make it so charming.
