Ah Paris! No other city packs so much French style, grand monuments, amazing vistas, cafes that are so typical, boutiques and art around every corner.

It’s the city of glamour and romance with a distinguished history and some difficult times.

The result is a harmonious blend of medieval and flamboyant 19th century architecture, mansions and classic squares dating from the Enlightenment to small timeless villages like Montmartre.

Day 1: The complete Paris, a feast for the senses

As a curtain raiser you discover the wide avenues and monuments such as the Champs Elysées, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Musée d’ Orsay, Saint Germain des Prés and Notre Dame. Along the way, you will come across fashion boutiques and antique dealers that are all part and parcel of the ‘City of Lights’.

Paris... told as a tale

Let your driver and guide take you up the Champs Elysées around the Arc de Triomphe then head over to Trocadero. From there, you can contemplate the Eiffel Tower sipping a coffee and nibbling on a fluffy pastry in a chic café.

Then go via Orsay and Les Invalides to get to Saint Germain des Prés with its streets that are so characteristic and symbolic of the Left Bank’s  intellectual and cultural refinement.  From here, you can visit the Quartier Latin or Latin Quarter passing Notre Dame to reach the very heart of Paris.

Saint Germain des Prés

Immerse yourself in the elegant Parisian atmosphere of Saint Germain des Prés. Your guide takes you through the alleys lined with antique shops and fine boutiques.

Sit in one of the cafés where writers, publishers and art dealers meet. Take a look around Le Bon Marché, the department store that revolutionized retailing and fashion in the 19th century

A cocktail on a rooftop

Like many Parisian business men at the end of their work day you sip a coktail on a terrace of a big Paris hotel, relax and watch the world go by with a view of the Paris rooftops and monuments.
